Ingredients (for approx. 4 servings):
1 package of cooked ham (approx. 200 g), diced
1 can of corn (300 g,(including juice)
1 package of Edam cheese (sliced, approx. 150-200 g)
50 g mayonnaise (also available low-fat or mixed with yogurt)
1-2 tbsp white wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
2 tbsp sunflower or rapeseed oil
Fresh chives (finely chopped to taste)
Black pepper (freshly ground to taste)
Preparation:
Place the corn and liquid in a large bowl. The liquid provides a pleasant base flavor for the dressing.
Add the cooked ham and sliced Edam cheese. Make sure to use sliced cheese—grated cheese will drown and won’t provide the desired bite.
Finely chop the chives and add them as well.
