World’s Best Ever Steak Marinade

Optional: 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary or thyme

Tip: This marinade works for all cuts—ribeye, flank, sirloin, T-bone, strip, or even skirt steak!

How to Marinate Steak (Step-by-Step)
Make the Marinade
In a bowl or jar, whisk together all ingredients until fully combined. You can also use a blender for an ultra-smooth texture.

Add the Steak
Place the steak(s) in a large zip-lock bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over the meat, ensuring it’s well coated.

Marinate
Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight (up to 24 hours).
For thinner cuts, 30–60 minutes is enough.

Don’t marinate too long (more than 24h), or the acid can break down the meat too much and affect the texture.

Remove & Cook
Take the steak out of the marinade, pat dry with paper towels (for better searing), and cook as desired:
Grill, pan-sear, oven-bake, or sous vide.

Never reuse marinade that’s touched raw meat unless you boil it first.
