No-Bake Prinzenrolle Cake
Ingredients:
1 package Prinzenrolle cookies
220 g butter
500 g sour cream (2 cups)
2 jars sour cherries (drained)
2 packages red cake glaze
Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar (for added flavor)
Preparation:
Prepare the cookie base: First, finely crumble the Prinzenrolle cookies in a food processor or with a rolling pin. Melt the butter and mix well with the cookie crumbs until a smooth mixture forms.
Form the tart base: Spread this cookie-butter mixture evenly in a springform pan (approx. 26 cm diameter) and press firmly to create a stable base.
Sour cream spread: Spread the sour cream evenly over the cookie base. If desired, vanilla sugar can be added to refine the spread.
Cherry layer: Drain the sour cherries well and spread them evenly over the sour cream layer.
