My mom cooked this for dinner, and it was a hit with everyone. I simply had to get the recipe!

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with butter.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and diced green chilies.
Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the egg bake is set and the top is golden brown.

Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeños to the egg mixture. You can also mix in some cooked sausage or bacon for added protein. If you prefer a milder flavor, substitute the green chilies with diced bell peppers. For a vegetarian version, add some sautéed mushrooms or spinach. This dish is also great for meal prep; simply slice and store in the fridge for up to three days, reheating individual portions as needed.
