Butter Cream Pecan Pound Cake

Ingredients:
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
• ½ cup butter-flavored shortening (or more butter)
• 3 cups granulated sugar
• 5 large eggs
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1½ cups chopped pecans (lightly toasted)
