Baked penne with sausage, béchamel sauce and mozzarella

Preparation:
1. In a pan, heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil with a clove of garlic. Add the crumbled sausage and sauté until golden brown.

2. Remove the garlic and stir in the tomato puree with a pinch of salt. Cook for about 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

3. Once the sauce is ready, add the béchamel and stir gently to obtain a creamy consistency.

4. Cook the pasta al dente, drain, and toss with the sauce. Don’t forget to add the grated Parmesan cheese!

5. Arrange half the pasta in a baking dish, alternating with diced mozzarella and covering with the remaining pasta. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese.

6. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes (the time may vary depending on your oven).
