Why freeze fresh lemons? I’ll list three compelling reasons at once:

Lemons are a source of vitamins and nutrients, especially important in winter when the body needs vitamin C.

The first reason
Fresh lemons don’t last long: they spoil quickly.

Buying them regularly isn’t rational, given the rising prices.

That’s why I freeze lemons to make them last longer.

I wash them, cut them into slices, place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and put them in the freezer for a few hours.

In winter, you can simply take the lemons out onto the balcony or in the garden if you live in a private home.

The second reason
Few people know that when lemons are flash-frozen, their nutrient levels increase.

That’s why frozen lemons are much healthier than fresh ones.
